If you missed my first post re Boston, make sure to check it out here! I've been in Boston twice prior for marathon weekend and the energy is just electric! It was probably 100x more electric being there as a runner. You are seriously treated like a celebrity and the people of Boston really are SO grateful that you're there running in this historic race. I made me appreciate it even more than I had (if that's even possible!) On our way to the Red Sox game Saturday the guy driving the T we were on came over the loud speaker and thanked everyone on who was running Monday and how much it meant to the city. Tears. I just love Boston.

I haven't done a blog post in....... a very long time. With Boston behind me ( 😭 ) I figured I'd write a few posts about my prep & experience in Boston! This post will be my week leading up to Boston and race morning.... what I ate, drank, my workouts, etc. I'm hoping to break this all up into 2-3 posts, and will most likely be a jumble of randomness which is my brain right now! This is what works for me & it may not work for everyone!

Hello friends and happy Sunday!! I am finally warm after showering and zipping up my yeti! Weeeee!!! It is cold here in upstate New York. Hope everyone had a great weekend and some great runs!! Here's a rundown of my training from the last 2 weeks!

Hellllllllo :) Well, it has been some time since my last update. I just finished my first week of Boston Marathon training!!! SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I can not believe it has started/that I'm running the Boston MARATHON!!!!!! I have some big goals for Boston! That is my main focus this training period!! I'd like a shiny new 5k and half marathon PR, but my goal in Boston is sub 3:20.
